Optical Fiber Fusion Splicer User Guide - How To Replace The Electrode Rod

Replacing the electrode is as follows:
　　(1) Before replacing the electrode, the user needs to turn off the power.
　　(2) Loosen the screw fixed on the electrode cover and remove the electrode.
　　(3) Install the new electrode into the electrode groove, install the electrode cover, and slowly tighten the screws.
　　(4) Observe whether the connection between the two electrodes is in the horizontal plane and in the vertical plane at the same time; if not, please re-install the electrodes.
　　(5) Turn on the power, put the prepared fiber into the fusion splicer, and execute 【Discharge Calibration】.
　　(6) After the electrode replacement is completed, execute [Clear the number of discharges].
Electrode rods are very important accessories and consumables for optical fiber fusion splicers, because discharge welding is completed by electrode rods. After reaching a certain life, the electrode rods age and need to be replaced in time to achieve the best welding state.
